Hi friends and citizens of Chicagoland, my name is Alan Daley (no
relation to any political icons). I’m the new guy in town and
here is a little something, about me.
I’ve traveled up and down the east coast and when I saw everything
I needed to see, I found myself drifting out west, as many of us do
after a long night of drinking. I’ve been on the Loop since
July ‘05 and I love it here. Chicago is great; the pizza is
amazing, the L gets me everywhere, and the people are so darn nice.
Some of my favorite bands are The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, U2, Nirvana
and Pink Floyd. Likes: CTA Blue Line, the Red Eye, Sudoku, Sirius
Black, Steven King’s Dark Tower Series, L-O-S-T, Swingers, The
Daily Show, my powerbook, traveling, C.S.I. (the original-for spin
offs see dislikes)
Dislikes: liars, the harsh Chicago winds, sold out
shows that I don’t have tickets to, C.S.I. Miami & New York,
and Joe Buck.
Favorite Place I’ve been: North Shore –
Hawaii; the waves are, in a word, killer-dude.
Worst Place I’ve been: LAX at 5AM after flying
for 6 hours. Ehh… just the thought of that, makes me want to
vomit.
