Def Leppard Day At This High School

Def Leppard  took time out before their show Wednesday  in Little Rock, Arkansas to pose for a very cool photo.

Two months ago, close to 1500 people signed an online petition to get the band to take a photo in front of the scoreboard for the Arkansas School for the Deaf’s football team, known as the Deaf Leopards. The guys are unable to make it to the school, but they have agreed to take a picture with some of the students [and] a large replica of the scoreboard at Verizon Arena.

Stacey Tatera, the spokeswoman for the Arkansas School for the Deaf, says, “We’re so proud for anyone to shine a light on our school, on deaf education and on the work we do here.”

And the school didn’t steal the name Deaf Leopards — it has used it since 1941
