James Hetfield of Metallica has added another voice gig to his resume.
He’s in the cast of a new Netflix animated series, Skylanders Academy, which will premiere in the fall. The show is based on the Skylanders line of toys that combine playable figurines with video game content. It will also feature the voices of Justin Long, Jonathan Banks and Norm Macdonald.
Hetfield has some experience doing animation voice work — he’s been on The Simpsons, American Dad and Metalocalypse.
