After 3 days of testimony, the estate of Randy “California” Wolfe of Spirit has rested its case in the copyright infringement case against Led Zeppelin over the Spirit song “Taurus”. The trial is expected to continue tomorrow, but before Led Zeppelin gets to state their side of things, but in a motion made today, the band is asking the judge to halt the case because the plaintiff hasn’t established the elements of copyright infringement and hasn’t even produced the 1967 copyright registration.
