SAMMY HAGAR-Cooking, Serving, Eating and Drinking for Charity

Sammy Hagar recently stopped by his Red Rocker Bar and Grill in West Memphis, Arkansas, where he joined a local band to sing “Rock Candy” from his days in Montrose.

But more importantly, Sammy says, is that gave away profits from the restaurant — as he does with Sammy’s Beach Bar and Grills — to local charities. “After talking to a lot of different organizations, [my wife] Kari and I decided these three were the ones the money could make the most difference: Mid-South Food Bank, Steudlein Learning Center and The Boys & Girls Club of Crittenden County.”

Sammy adds, “It’s been a good week for giving, and it sure feels good to be able to do this! Thanks to all the Redheads that support these restaurants. We are making a difference one bite at a time!”

All totaled, he donated $50,000 on this trip.
