Following last Friday’s release of the title track of the upcoming new Bon Jovi album “This House Is Not For Sale”, the band’s former guitarist Richie Sambora and his girlfriend, guitarist Orianthi, posted a short video to Twitter congratulating his ex-bandmates on their new music.
The new Bon Jovi album is due October 21. And new work is expected from Sambora soon, which will be a collaboration with Orianthi who can be seen playing in Michael Jackson’s band in the “This Is It” film documenting the rehearsals for the tour Jackson died prior to in June of 2009. Sambora and Oriathi’s efforts will skew in a country direction.
After Bon Jovi’s 2013 album “What About Now” Sambora bolted the band prior to the world-wide tour promoting the album. Acrimony ensued, however a thaw in relations seemed to be underway by 2014 when Jon Bon Jovi called out Sambora for the “Ice Bucket Challenge” that was all the rage that summer.
