The first event in the Minnesota Vikings new palace, U.S. Bank Stadium is set for tonight (Sat 8/20), and will feature Metallica who are in the midst of a whirl of activity this week. You can see the stage and floor seating being set up in the photo above.
On Thursday, fans where surprised with the new song “Hardwired”, which is the lead single from their 10th studio album, “Hardwired…To Self Destruct” which is due on November 18th. So far, the song is being well received by fans, many of whom are pleased that it is somewhat of a return to the band’s early year thrash style.
Tonight’s performance will stream free starting at 8pm Chicago time HERE.
