As much as you want to see of Iggy Pop will be on display in two different media in the next couple of months.
Gimme Danger, Jim Jarmusch’s documentary film about The Stooges, is scheduled for a limited release on October 28th before going wide on November 4th. That same day, Iggy Pop Life Class, an exhibit of drawings made by Brooklyn art students with Iggy serving as a nude model, will open a run of nearly four months at the Brooklyn Museum.
The museum show was announced today (Thursday), around the same time that the official trailer for Gimme Shelter was posted on YouTube. (Pitchfork, Consequence of Sound)
