Pink Floyd Unites To Support Gaza Activists

While there is a sharp divide between primary Pink Floyd members Roger Waters and guitarist David Gilmour, they have been known to put aside their differences and unite for a cause they champion as they last did at the global “Live 8” concert in 2005.

While there is no hint that the band will again share a stage, and with a true reunion impossible with the passing of Richard Wright, the band has issued a statement saying that they “stand united in support of the Women of the Gaza Freedom Flotilla, and deplore their illegal arrest and detention in international waters by the Israeli Defense Force.”

For Pink Floyd fans, it’s a start.  And you can read more HERE.

And here’s how Pink Floyd closed out their set when the line-up last performed in London at the Live 8 concert.  Enjoy “Comfortably Numb”.
