Queen + Adam Lambert are not done working together just yet.
Guitarist Brian May writes on his website, “It does look like Queen + Adam Lambert will hit the road sometime in the New Year — but I can’t reveal any more details yet… Amazing that all this time after ‘Keep Yourself Alive’ we are a global phenomenon… But it’s wonderful to see the happy faces in places we never ever visited before…and hear and hearing their response — singing, laughing, crying, stamping, clapping…and…that roar which only Rock and Roll can elicit…the roar of a collective, interactive night of passion!”
Queen have released a lyric video for the fast version of “We Will Rock You” from their November 4th release, On Air – The Complete BBC Radio Sessions. They used to open their shows with this version in the ’70s before doing the hit single version later on in the evening.
Freddie Mercury’s mother, Jer Bulsara, turned 94 on Sunday.
