Maybe you can’t teach an old dog new tricks, but you can still give it a shot in the arm.
Scorpions singer Klaus Meine credits former Motorhead member Mikkey Dee, who officially became the band’s drummer last month, with bringing “a fresh wave of energy” to the veteran band. In a live-streamed press conference from Singapore during their Southeast Asian tour, Meine insisted that even after more than 50 years as a band “the passion is still there.”
“The fact that the band is still together and we still put on a damn good show…We’re still excited about doing all those trips and taking our music all over the world. This vision never left us.”(Blabbermouth.net)
