The first watch model from Axl Rose’s deal with HYT will be out next month — but you can afford it only if you’re a millionaire.
The HYT Skull Axl Rose model is based on the company’s Skull watch, which Rose wore on stage this summer with Guns n’ Roses and AC/DC. Only 25 pieces have been made — and they each cost $100,000.
Rose signed the deal with HYT in June, inspiring plenty of jokes about a man known for being late to shows all the time designing his own watch. But apparently this version of Rose — who was on time all of the GNR and AC/DC concerts this year — knew exactly what he wanted for his timepiece. Forbes reports that designing and having a model out in just five months is, in watch-maker years, “equivalent to about five minutes.”
