Brian May has compiled a three-CD album of the greatest “Rock Guitar Anthems” of all time called Air Guitar Anthems.
Out now in England, the album is the sequel to The Best Air Guitar Album in the World…Ever series, which sold 1.3 million copies across its three volumes in 2001, 2002 and 2003.
May says, “Most music fans love a rock riff and everyone has an ‘air guitar’ moment at least once in their lives. For me and all the other artists on this record, that has turned into a career!”
In addition to two songs from Queen — “Bohemian Rhapsody” and “We Will Rock You” — the album contains Led Zeppelin’s “Whole Lotta Love,” The Rolling Stones’ “Start Me Up,” ZZ Top’s “Gimme All Your Lovin’,” Deep Purple’s “Smoke on the Water” and Bachman-Turner Overdrive’s “You Ain’t Seen Nothing Yet,” plus tracks from the likes of:
