The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame will announce its Class of 2017 on Tuesday, December 20th, at 8 a.m. ET.
This year’s nominees are Journey, Joan Baez, Pearl Jam, The Cars, Steppenwolf, Yes, ELO, The Zombies, The J. Geils Band, Bad Brains, Chaka Khan, Chic, Depeche Mode, Jane’s Addiction, Janet Jackson, Joe Tex, Kraftwerk, MC5 and Tupac Shakur.
Fan voting is open through tomorrow (Thursday) at RockHall.com. The Top 5 artists selected by the public will make up a “fans’ ballot” that will be tallied along with the ballots submitted by members of the music community and previous inductees.
The ceremony will be held in April at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
