Last year’s massive Pink Floyd box set, The Early Years: 1965-1972, has been picked apart and will be available as six individual collections on March 24th.
They will be broken down by years:
1965-1967 – CAMBRIDGE ST/ATION
1968 – GERMIN/ATION
1969 – DRAMATIS/ATION
1970 – DEVI/ATION
1971 – REVERB/ATION
1972 – OBFUSC/ATION
The packages will feature outtakes and demos from their early albums including “The Piper at the Gates of Dawn,” “A Saucerful of Secrets,” “Meddle” and “Atom Heart Mother.”
In addition to the individual volumes and the deluxe set, a two-CD highlights album The Early Years – CRE/ATION is also available.
