A bronze statue of Freddie Mercury that sits on the shore of Lake Geneva in Montreux, Switzerland was vandalized this week when someone sprayed it with green paint.
Town officials were quick to react and immediately cleaned it.
Queen recorded seven albums at Mountain Studios in Montreux, which they owned from 1979 to 1996. It has since been turned into a museum dedicated to the band called Queen – The Studio Experience.
