Last Saturday, I was at Joe’s on Weed super stoked to see a Tool cover band.

I grew up madly in love with Tool, their emotional edge is exactly what i was missing to be filled in my life! Not knowing if this cover band would hit that same spot in me, but they did just that.

Now with the unexpected. Alice in Chains, a love affair I’ve always had, and to my surprise, a AIC coverband walking out on stage fronted by a guy who had to be escorted in because he was only 19. That didn’t make any difference. They completely blew me away. Passion. Energy. And that special it factor. Great people, great music, perfect Saturday night.
