Alice Cooper will play King Herod in the upcoming Easter Sunday TV presentation of “Jesus Christ Superstar Live!”

Airing April 1, this version of the rock opera will be produced by British theater director David Leveaux, and is executive produced by Andrew Lloyd Webber, Tim Rice, Marc Platt, Craig Zadan and Neil Meron.
