Last night found me hungry in Berwyn (bonus points if you read “Berwyn” in a Svengoolie voice).

I got dinner from Big Guy’s Sausage Stand, at the recommendation of my food writer friend Mike Gebert.  I couldn’t resist trying Big Guy’s seasonal “Rudolph Sausage.” Yep, it’s reindeer sausage. We’re all going to hell. Here’s the lowdown:

It was insanely good. That said, if sausage isn’t your thing, go with a “Big Guy Burger” (includes 1000 island, shoestring onions, pickles, American cheese). The 12 oz. burger is coma-inducing; and at $12.99, a comparative value to anything you’d order downtown.
