White Sox announce additional guests to appear at SoxFest 2018

CHICAGO – The Chicago White Sox announced an expanded roster of team members scheduled to appear at SoxFest 2018 on January 26-28 at the Hilton Chicago.

Catcher Welington Castillo, manager Rick Renteria as well as coaches Daryl Boston, Nick Capra, Don Cooper, Curt Hasler, Joe McEwing, Mark Salas, Greg Sparks and Todd Steverson have been added to the list of current team members scheduled to appear at SoxFest 2018. Former players Jon Garland as well as White Sox ambassadors Jose Contreras, Ron Kittle, Carlos May also have been added to the roster. They will join the full list available at whitesox.com/SoxFest.

The White Sox will offer a limited number of single and two-day passes to SoxFest 2018 only at whitesox.com/SoxFest beginning at 10 a.m. on Monday, January 8. Passes for the annual fan gathering will go on sale for $50 for a Saturday-only pass, $40 for a Sunday-only pass and $75 for fans who purchase both Saturday and Sunday passes.

Fans are encouraged to purchase the SoxFest hotel packages, include exclusive access to Friday night events and an exclusive SoxFest 2018 Ken “Hawk” Harrelson talking bobblehead. Hotel packages are available at whitesox.com/SoxFest are the only way to buy three-day weekend passes. Fans who book hotel packages are eligible to purchase Premium Upgrade Packages. A limited quantity is available, featuring special MVP speed passes and private experiences. The premium upgrade private autograph experience with Hall of Famer Tim Raines will be the only opportunity for SoxFest attendees to receive the Hall of Famer’s autograph. Due to personal contractual obligations, fans should note Hall of Famer Tim Raines is only eligible to sign the White Sox-provided baseball with “Tim Raines Hall of Fame Class of 2017” on it, which is included in the package.
