When I first collected vinyl (back when vinyl was simply a music distribution method and not a hipster collectible), I used to love double albums. They looked cooler on the shelf, and gave me a lot more music to tear through. Tonight’s “Night Flight” (at 9 p.m.) highlights some of the best double albums ever. Here are a few you may hear:
Pink Floyd “The Wall”
Fleetwood Mac “Tusk”
Bob Dylan “Blonde on Blonde”
Prince “1999”
The Who “Quadrophenia”
Led Zeppelin “Physical Graffiti”
Elton John “Goodbye Yellow Brick Road”
