Former White Sox pitcher caught with 20 kilos of cocaine, heroin

Former White Sox pitcher Esteban Loaiza was caught with 20 kilos of cocaine and heroin on Friday in San Diego. He was charged with transporting with intent to sell. In case you’re not up on the kilos-to-pounds conversion, that’s 44 pounds of cocaine/heroin. Loaiza spent time with the Sox from 2003-2004, making the All-Star team both years, before coming back to close out his career on the South Side in 2008.
