Whirlpool created their own special day, “National Clean Out Your Refrigerator Day,” back in 1999. While it’s a blatant corporate initiative, it’s still a pretty decent idea. I know for a fact there’s a sour cream container in the back of my top shelf that I haven’t cracked since 2-3 “Taco Tuesdays” ago.
