Iron Maiden frontman Bruce Dickinson’s getting ready to put out his first solo album since 2005’s “Tyranny Of Souls.”

In a recent interview, he said the album might include a version of “If Eternity Should Fail,” a song from Maiden’s 2015 “The Book of Souls” album. Dickinson says it was originally meant to be a solo song, but Maiden commandeered it. “If Eternity Should Fail” was a killer show-opener out at Tinley this summer. Count me in for a new interpretation of it.
