Let’s hear it for science!

NASA’s funded a study at Penn State that looked into how liquid and solid waste can be turned into food for astronauts. After all, taking groceries on a rocket is expensive and takes up storage space.

The process to convert poop into food hasn’t been tested yet, but based on USA Today‘s report, perhaps it’s not that far off. Suddenly, Tang sounds like the most delicious thing ever.
