It was a return to the Alamo in San Antonio, Texas, for Ozzy Osbourne this week, ostensibly to apologize for the 1982 incident in which he was intoxicated while in the city for a concert and urinated on the historic landmark, much to the offense of most Texans. He was arrested, although was bailed out with enough time to sober up and perform the show.
However, angry city officials banned Osbourne from returning to the city to perform unless he made a $10,000 donation to the organization that maintains the Alamo grounds. It would take Osbourne until 1992 to make the donation.
He is now back, with son Jack in tow, to apologize and has a camera crew from the History Channel with him. So we’ll let you know when to look for the televised apology.
