Axl Rose says he’s been working on new Guns n’ Roses music with Slash and Duff McKagan.
During an appearance in London on Tuesday, Rose told the audience, “We are working on new stuff. I’ve got a lot of stuff together, and I played some stuff for Slash and Duff and they liked it.” Rose also said he’s had discussions about recording with AC/DC. He said, “Angus [Young] and I are talking about working together.”
Rose was also asked about possibly doing a memoir like Slash and Duff, and said, “It’s tough, because I have to figure out how to word things in a way that doesn’t just look like I’m being negative to everyone else or calling them a liar.” He admitted that he had issues with Slash’s book, and said, “Slash and I hadn’t talked in 19 years, and [when we reunited] it was a good talk. And I was like, ‘You wrote a lot of stuff that didn’t even happen. It’s not real.'”
