Here’s the anthemic lead off single and title track of the new Bon Jovi album “This House Is Not For Sale”. While it’s the band’s fourteenth album, it will be their first without founding member and guitarist Richie Sambora who moved on as the band toured behind their 2013 album “What About Now”.
Replacing Sambora is Phil X, the former Triumph guitarist who you may have heard chatting with Mancow here on The Loop on Friday (8/12).
At a press conference in Malaysia earlier this year Jon Bon Jovi explained that the band went back to basics to record their new work. “We were recording at different times and different rooms in the studio. That’s not happening anymore. We went back to the place where we cut ‘Runaway’ in 1982 – where I used to sweep the floor and fetch coffee.”
The band also announced a release date of October 21st. And in an earlier comment Jon Bovi said he expects to have the band on the road in February to support the new album.
