When Izzy Stradlin said he wasn’t part of the Guns n’ Roses tour because the band didn’t want to “split the loot equally,” there was apparently a lot of loot on the table.
An alleged band insider, writing under the name MSL at GNR Truth, says Stradlin was involved in the band’s rehearsals at one point and was negotiating to appear at some of their shows in April. MSL writes, “Equal pay was never discussed. A five-figure fee per cameo is what was being negotiated. But there is a lot of room for negotiation on a five-figure fee. 10-thousand? 99-thousand? Whatever it was, they were far apart and Izzy bailed.”
