Lots to look forward to from Apple’s recent Keynote

Here’s what we learned from today’s big Apple product unveiling…

*Apple CEO Tim Cook says the new iPhone 7 is “The best iPhone we have ever created.”
*The iPhone camera features optical stabilization, an f1.8 aperture lens and a six-element lens. “Machine learning” will help take better pictures. Live photos can be cropped and edited.
*The iPhone 7 “Plus” will have Two 12MP cameras (wide-angle, telephoto). Maybe that means it can be used to take better concert pictures?
*No headphone jack; it’s all bluetooth from here. #JackOff is taking off on Twitter. Shoulda seen that coming. As it were.
*Wireless airbuds are now a thing. Just looking at these things, I’ve already lost them. FWIW, they automatically connect to your phone (no Bluetooth setup necessary).
*New iOS 10 features more Siri, better Maps and a better keyboard.
*Longer battery life.
*“Home Kit” doubles down on the “Internet of Things” concept. Get ready to control your home’s air conditioner and garage door with your cell phone. And heaven help any of us if our phones get hacked.
*The iPhone “Home” button isn’t a button anymore.
*Stereo speakers on the iPhone: Perfect time to download the LOOP app!
*The new Apple Watch is waterproof.
*Pokemon Go’s been added to the new version of Apple Watch, so now you don’t need to rely exclusively on your phone to check out of the real world.
*The runner-friendly Apple Watch Nike+ is described as “your perfect running partner.” Nilay Patel elaborated on The Verge, “There’s a social network called Nike+ Run Club that gently prods you to run based on weather, your friends, days of the week, and your personal sense of shame.”
