After nearly a year-and-a-half of shows, AC/DC ends the Rock or Bust tour tonight in Philadelphia — with a different lineup than the one that began the tour in April 2015 at the Coachella festival.
The Rock or Bust album has Brian Johnson on vocals and Phil Rudd on drums. But Axl Rose took over singing after Johnson’s hearing issues sidelined him, and former drummer Chris Slade replaced Rudd after he was arrested. Rhythm guitarist Malcolm Young had to retire due to dementia and was replaced by his nephew, Stevie Young.
What’s more, tonight’s show will be the last ever for bassist Cliff Williams, who’s hanging it up after 39 years in the band.
