Genesis drummer and solo artist Phil Collins seems to have enjoyed his recent performances at the U.S. Open tennis tournament and on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, saying, “It all felt really good actually”. Collins has some European shows planned on what’s being called the “Not Dead Yet” tour, and in a new interview last night in New York said regarding U.S. concerts “It’ll only be a matter of time until we come here.”
This new interview comes as Collins issues his new autobiography “Not Dead Yet” and a new compilation album “The Singles”. He discusses his promotion from drummer to singer of Genesis, the backlash from his constant exposure in the 1980’s, playing with Eric Clapton and George Harrison and lots more in last night’s wide ranging interview.
