Aerosmith- Tyler Auctioning Rare Car for Charity

Steve Tyler of Aerosmith spent more than a million bucks acquiring a rare car in 2013, now he’s giving it up to help his charity.

The auto is his Hennessey Venom GT Spyder, the fifth of just 12 ever produced and the first convertible. The charity is Janie’s Fund, which he partners in with Youth Villages to help vulnerable girls who have suffered trauma from abuse and neglect.

A Venom GT reached a record-setting top speed of 270.49 mph at Kennedy Space Center in 2014. Tyler’s will be displayed at the Barrett-Jackson booth at the 2016 SEMA Show in Scottsdale, Arizona from November 1st through 4th. The auction will take place during Barrett-Jackson’s Scottsdale 2017 event, January 14th through 22nd at WestWorld of Scottsdale. (Blabbermouth.net)
