It looks like Stone Temple Pilots have chosen their new singer.
Entertainment Tonight reports that it’s former X-Factor contestant Jeffrey Adam Gutt and that he’s been writing and recording new material with the band over the past few months. A tour is expected to follow in 2017.
STP haven’t made an official announcement, but had dropped hints that they were close to naming a replacement for Chester Bennington, who was a replacement himself for the late Scott Weiland. They held an open audition at the start of this year with candidates applying through their website.
