If you’re a guy and want to win the family board game tournament this holiday season, don’t play AC/DC in the background.
A study by London’s Imperial College and the Royal College of Music found that men were easily distracted by the band’s music. Researchers asked 352 visitors at a college science festival to play Operation. The men who listened to AC/DC were slower and made more mistakes, compared to those who listened to Mozart or just the sounds of an actual operating theater.
