Sammy Hagar’s Rock and Roll Road Trip series returns for a second go-round Sunday nights on AXS-TV starting March 5th.
The six episodes follow Hagar as he travels across America to interview and jam with artists in their hometowns.
Here’s the schedule:
3/5 – San Francisco – Hagar and James Hetfield of Metallica go behind-the-scenes at their Acoustic-4-A-Cure benefit concert. Hagar interviews Hetfield, Joe Satriani, John Mayer and Melissa Etheridge and they all jam, along with Tommy Lee, Pat Monahan of Train, Vic Johnson of The Circle and others.
3/12 – Norman, Oklahoma – Toby Keith
3/19 – Bloomington, Indiana – John Mellencamp
3/26 – Chicago and Denver – Rick Nielsen of Cheap Trick and a concert by Hagar’s band The Circle at Red Rocks
4/2 – Saratoga, California – Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top
4/9 – Maui, Hawaii – Mick Fleetwood of Fleetwood Mac
Coinciding with a February 19th AXS-TV marathon of the show’s first season, Hagar will do a live Q-and-A session on his Facebook page from 2:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. that day.
