We’re digging into 1989 tonight for “40 for 40,” the year Michael Keaton first hit the screen as Batman. We’ve been spoiled in the 21st century by the sheer number of comic adaptations that have come since, but back then, a silver-screen Batman was an anomaly. There have been plenty of movie Batmen over the years. but Keaton’s still probably my favorite (though Lego Batman is pretty amazing). Here’s a quick history of movie Batmen:
