It’s not a new movie, but I just discovered it and can’t say enough good things about it. “The Invitation” is a tense, slow-burning horror/thriller that has one of the best payoffs I’ve ever seen. If you find yourself endlessly scrolling through Netflix looking for something… anything… to watch this weekend, make it “The Invitation.” It’s so, so good.
